We’ll be at the Jeffrey Mansion overnight on Friday for planning for the 2018 Scouting year, movies, and board games. Up and out early on Saturday. Many Scouts will take part in the Pancake Breakfast (separate signup) on Saturday morning.

The Bexley Historical Society’s primary fundraiser for the year is an annual Pancake Breakfast held at Jeffrey Mansion. At this year’s event, as in the past, the Scouts will clear and reset tables as a service project. The Pancake Breakfast is on Saturday, December 9 starting at 8:30 am. This event will follow our overnight planning meeting at Jeffrey Mansion. Adults are also needed to help supervise.
Monday, December 11, 7:30 – 9 pm. Scout meeting @ church and Board of Review
This meeting will also be the final Board of Review to allow those Scouts who have completed all their other rank requirements to complete a final review with uniformed adults to earn their rank.
Monday, December 18, 7:30 – 9 pm. Final December Scout Meeting and Holiday Gift Exchange
Our final meeting will be a holiday celebration and gift exchange. Scouts should bring a wrapped holiday gift to exchange. Scouts can repurpose something they already own or can spend up to $5 on something new. Gifts can be humorous but should be something that the scout would be OK receiving themselves.
Families should bring cookies to pass.
Thank you all for a great year with Troop 166. As a reminder, Scouts will use the January meeting to plan outings. However, they have already agreed on the first outing, the very popular Vertical Adventures Rock Climbing Lock-In, Saturday night January 20 – Sunday morning January 21.
