Note: this is not a Troop outing, but as part of Simon Kenton Council, scouts and their families can take advantage of special pricing. $45/person for lift ticket, ski or snowboard rental, one hour group lesson, plus snow tubing. Or $20/person for snow tubing only. Choose from 9 am – 4pm or 4pm – 9:30 pm slots.

Monday, February 13, 7:30 – 9 pm. Scout meeting @ church and Troop Committee Meeting
Friday, February 17, 6 pm – Sunday, February 19, noon. Winter Survival Campout! Depart and arrive from church
Scouts will spend the weekend at Camp Falling Rock, constructing Winter Survival shelters (using tarps, wood, leaves, or snow depending on the weather). Scouts can choose to sleep outside in their shelters, tents, or optionally in a nearby cabin.
Cost: $20/person.
Location: Camp Falling Rock, Scoutmaster’s Lodge

Meet Friday at 6 pm at Church parking lot
Return on Sunday around noon
PACKING INFO
Travel in Class A uniforms. Bring warm clothes appropriate to the weather. Those planning to sleep outside should consider bringing a second pad and a second sleeping bag or heavy blanket to drape over your main sleeping bag if the forecast is below 30 degrees overnight.

As reminders:
- All campouts are open to Troop 166 Boy Scouts, parents, and uniformed adults
- Travel to and from the campout in uniform
- All adults (parents as well as uniformed adults) need to have an up to date Youth Protection http://www.
