It was worth the drive! 13 Scouts and 5 Adults trekked 3-1/2 hours each way to Marengo Cave in Marengo, Indiana. The tour guide put everyone’s eyes to the “test” and turned off all the lights in the cave (just for a moment) . . . to see if anyone’s eyes would adjust to the darkness. They did not . . . not an ounce of natural light!
