Please set aside the morning of Sunday, February 8 for a special family Scouting event.
For 51 weeks each year, Bexley United Methodist Church (BUMC) provides the Troop with a home – a place to meet, utilities, and janitorial services to mention the most obvious.
Once each year the Church is asked to be our Chartering Organization – to take responsibility for us and to stand behind our program and choices and activities for the year. Without a Chartering Organization, there would be no Troop.
Once each year, the Church asks that we show our support for the Church by participating in services on one day, Scout Sunday.
This year Scout Sunday is on Sunday, February 8. We have been asked to participate in both the 9:00 AM and the 11:00 AM services.
Families and Scouts are encouraged to attend. Scouts will be wearing their Class “A” uniform.
What if I’m not a member of BUMC? What if I’m not Methodist?
Not a problem. You are not being asked to join the church, only to show your support for the Troop and for the Church which makes the existence of the Troop possible.
Please join us on Sunday, February 8 for one or both services as we say “Thank You” to BUMC for their continuing support.
